Walnut Crusted Pork Chops

These walnut-crusted pork chops are Keto friendly and would be great with baked cheesy cauliflower or bacon wrapped green bean bundles. (Which are one of my favorite side dishes...but who wouldn’t like anything wrapped in bacon) Serves 2 Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons crushed walnuts
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Pinch of sea salt
Ground black pepper, to taste
1 large egg
2 boneless thick-cut pork chops

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a shallow dish combine the walnuts, cheese, salt and pepper. In another shallow dish, lightly beat the egg. Dip each pork chop separately in the egg then the walnut mixture, coating each side the placing it on the baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes, then flip them over and continue to bake them another 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145F. Serve immediately. Yum Yum
