Game Day Cheese Football 🏈

Big game coming up this weekend and if your having family and friends over you might want to make this awesome Game Day Cheese Football. I found this on another website but I changed a few things. Let me know if you make it. I’m a slow chopper, so it will probably take me close to 30 minutes for prep and prepare and it need a few hours in the frig to chill.

Ingredients:

2 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 8oz pkg shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
4 strips of red pepper for lacing
Assorted crackers, chips and vegetables for dipping

Directions:
In a food processor add the cheeses and mayo, blend until smooth. Add in the vegetables, blend until incorporated. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. On a serving platter form into a football, coat with chopped nuts (add more if needed) and add the red pepper strips to make the laces. To serve: arrange crackers, chips and/or vegetables around the cheese football for dipping. Yum Yum!

Note: Other ingredients you can add are chopped black olives, pimentos and crumbled bacon.
