There's nothing better than making chocolate chip cookies with the grandchildren, if they don't eat all the chocolate chips first! Within the first 30 minutes of purchasing the chocolate chip bag was reduced by a third. So we prepared to make these pretty fast. I have to say our first batch was pretty bad because someone made them too big...I won't name names.
The directions are pretty easy...first I like to gather all my ingredients together, just to make sure I have everything. Then I soften the butter in the microwave just so that it is creamy and not melted thoroughly. Mix your butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until it is smooth. Now you can add in the rest of the ingredients and blend. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat your oven 350F. Roll the cookie dough in small balls and place them on a nonstick cookie sheet or one that's been covered with wax paper. Bake 11 minutes. Cool and serve...Yum Yum
