Would you think it’s a miracle if you could whip up this Garden Tuna Casserole under an hour? Serves 6 Total Time: 50 minutes
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon toasted minced onion
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup milk
2 cans 6 1/2oz each tuna in water, drained and flaked
2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
2 cups 4oz bow tie pasta, cooked
1 pkg 10oz broccoli florets, thawed
1/2 cup red or green bell pepper, chopped
Preheat oven to 350F. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
In a saucepan mix together the Miracle Whip, flour, dill weed and onion over medium then gradually add milk. Stirring frequently until thickens; then mix in the tuna, 1 cup cheese, cooked pasta, broccoli and peppers. Transfer to a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 30 minutes. Yum Yum!
