Baked Lobster Tails for Two

Want to have a special Valentines Day Dinner? Make these Baked Lobster Tails for Two. Makes 4 Tails Total Time: 27 minutes


4 lobster tails (6 to 8 oz each)
2 tablespoons butter, melted 
2 teaspoons parsley flakes 
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice 
3/4 cup water 
Salt and pepper, to taste 


Preheat oven to 360F. Make a vertical slit on the lobster tail using a pair of kitchen scissors. Start at the top and move towards the tail end.  Expose the meat by gently pulling the the sides in the opposite direction as the slit. Pull the meat using your hands, but do not remove the meat.  

Arrange the meat on a baking pan with sides. Combine parsley, melted butter, salt and pepper in a bowl. Use a basting brush to brush the butter mixture over the meat. Pour the 3/4 cup of water on the baking sheet where the lobster tails are to create some steam while baking. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Let cool then transfer to serving plates along with the lemon butter sauce. Yum Yum!
