Copy Cat Topgolf Zing Zang Chili

Copy Cat Topgolf Zing Zang Chili

I don’t think I’ve ever had chili made with Bloody Mary mix before, have you?

I go to Topgolf every once in awhile to have lunch. Right now on their seasonal menu is their Zing Zang Chili made with Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix and topped with sour cream, jalapeƱos, croutons and cheese. At the end of lunch I asked the waiter if I could get the recipe. That was a big “No Way!”  So I’m going to have to come up with my own copy cat version.

Ingredients:

2-3 lbs of ground beef
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 tablespoons chili powder, divided
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can of dark red kidney beans
1 can of light red kidney beans
1 10 oz can of Rotel mild tomato and green chilies
28 oz can of diced tomatoes
24 oz jar of chunky mild salsa
1 1/2 cup of Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix

Directions:

In a medium size skillet on med/high heat add the oil. When hot add in the ground beef, sprinkle some of the chili powder on top and salt and pepper, to taste. Cook until browned. Set aside on a plate with some paper towels to soak up some oil.

Drain the cans of beans and pour them into the crockpot along with the chilies, tomatoes and salsa. Add in the Bloody Mary mix and top with the remaining chili powder, stir to combine. Add in the meat, mix well. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Serve with your favorite toppings. Yum Yum!
